To one not familiar with their ways, it could be easy to make the mistake of assumption /pol/ had something coherent to say. Only autists have trouble distinguishing memes with realities, or other desperate individuals have no solid reality of their own to counteract it's absurdity.

/pol/ has relevance for people because today relativism and nihilism are the default mode of operation in modern world.

Populism is fuelled by pure ideology. It's almost like the population suspends disbelief because they want to believe. It needs a willing audience. But still, because it is mythology, it can be used any many contexts. The narratives do not change much. Which is why today people still unironically like Hitler. It is a willingness to suspend disbelieve. You can assess what type of person in what context would do this.

I bet Hitler couldn't believe how easy it was, to tell people what they want to hear and create a mythology around it.
