Which countries specifically?

2017-07-23 10:13:11 UTC

My cousins are portuguese for example, they have the same skin color as the girl I posted

2017-07-23 10:13:52 UTC

Well yeah many Portuguese do

2017-07-23 10:14:07 UTC

I've met many with paler skin

2017-07-23 10:14:17 UTC

Spanish people tend to have darker skin and hair

2017-07-23 10:14:25 UTC

But there are "white" Spaniards

My point is, regarding the genocide (bc yes it was), the population you found now in SA is mainly descendants of europeans and africans

2017-07-23 10:16:08 UTC

@Gavroche yes because of the moors

2017-07-23 10:18:51 UTC

This is an example of a white Hispanic even though I don't think these people are even Hispanic https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5469/9437382118_3087b801f2_c.jpg

2017-07-23 10:22:21 UTC

I've just read some stuff about it, it always be more relevant than 2 pics ^^

2017-07-23 10:24:16 UTC

And yep, in some countries Europeans (white) are a majority, in other mestizos (white + native) are a majority, but natives are a majority only in Peru and Bolivia or Guatemala depending on the study

2017-07-23 10:33:09 UTC

@Gavroche "it always be more relevant than 2 pics" what do you mean

2017-07-23 10:33:37 UTC

I mean it's hard to determine the validity of a statement based on 2 pics

2017-07-23 10:38:48 UTC

it's a rule of what we called in France "zététique", hard to translate since it comes from ancient greek, but like any english word, you just have to mispronounce it I guess, so "zetetic" it's the art of skepticism, with a set of principles, one of them is to avoid cognitive biaises, and among cognitive biaises there is one called cherry picking

Goys, we are alone in the universe.

2017-07-23 10:57:36 UTC

I am having an existential crisis.

2017-07-23 10:58:00 UTC

If we fail, the universe will never know itself again.

@Deleted User humanity deserves to die out. We had a good run. If we get to Mars all we'll do is mine it for space oil until it implodes.

2017-07-23 11:17:54 UTC

B-but it took 4 billion years for intelligent life to evolve. We only have 1 billion years more until the sun is too hot and earth is uninhabital. There is not enough time for another intelligent species to evolve. If we die out then the universe will be empty. I do not think you understand how important it is that we suceed.

2017-07-23 11:20:47 UTC

People who say that humanity deserves to die out are a bit loopy and that's putting it lightly

2017-07-23 11:24:33 UTC

The responsibility is overwhelming to try to comprehend.

2017-07-23 11:37:10 UTC

@Deleted User you don't know that other life doesn't exist. Let humanity die, and we don't have anywhere near a billion years left lol

2017-07-23 11:40:45 UTC

or, better yet, just kill humanity, speed this up pls

2017-07-23 11:41:23 UTC

@i dunno ww3 when

2017-07-23 11:41:37 UTC

Maybe you should start with yourselves to set an example

2017-07-23 11:41:44 UTC
2017-07-23 11:42:16 UTC

That's ineffeciant. Everyone should go full columbine

2017-07-23 11:42:39 UTC

spelling

2017-07-23 11:46:43 UTC

tbh the only way to spread your ideals is to practice what you preach. If you want something to be done by the masses lead by example

2017-07-23 11:47:17 UTC

Take responsibility @i dunno

2017-07-23 11:48:12 UTC

being a hypocrite has it's merits

2017-07-23 11:50:05 UTC

don't play rimworld it's a shit game, friends

2017-07-23 12:07:36 UTC

Really, why not kill yourself then?

2017-07-23 12:07:41 UTC

There should be evidence of other intelligent life but there is none whatsoever. And looking at the timeline of Earth it is statistically very unlikely that it can be followed the same way, passing all conditions and tests and necessary. For more information look up the Fermi Paradox and Isaac Arthur's videos on the subject. Of course saying, "you do not know for sure" contributes nothing to the conversation being a blanket rejection.

2017-07-23 12:07:54 UTC

If you think humanity should go do something about it, unless you're just a coward

2017-07-23 12:11:47 UTC

🤔

2017-07-23 12:12:30 UTC

I'm not kidding, every other group that has it's goals tries to achieve it
