Definitely
And it just gradually grew over time and evolved into allowing a considerable amount of cultures into the country
with a complete disregard of regulating their assimilation
as it was probably deemed racist or unnecessary
People at the time of the conception of multiculturalism were speaking out against it
Of course they didn't have any say in it and their protest didn't effect the decision
look up Enoch Powell
influential British Nationalist who forsaw the effects of multiculturalism which we enjure today
He was removed from his position in parliament when he gave his speech against it
They did polls at the time on peoples views on his speech against multiculturalism
and I think it was about 70-80% against Multiculturalism
which is fairly extraordinary
Because of course the establishment took no care in the world about the peoples views and to this day the policy has continued
I think personally they continue it purely because of economic reasons with an utter disregard to it's effects on culture, values and the native society
as it allows for continued GDP growth
and introduces more potential workers
although it comes at the loss of the workers who already live here
lowering the wages as companies don't have to compete for workers anymore
So to summarise, it almost definitely comes at the individuals loss in the long and short term, but benefits the collective in the long run
It's quite frankly quantity over quality

9/23/17
>using the autistic American date format
It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but the American format generally looks better. 9/23/17 > 23/9/17
`09/23/17`
`23/09/17`
`23-09-2017`
`23-Sep-2017`
`23.09.2017`
all latter 3 look better than the first two tbh
what shithead wanted to use `/` as a date seperator
Eh
