What diversity is there in China?
Want the simple or the long answer
Long answer
There are 50+ ethnicities in the PRC. All of them work together and function very well, like their own family. There are however regions where you won't find other minorities, so the ethnic minorities keep to their own land and the Han keep to theirs (unless you're Tibetan/Uyghur). Most ethnicities have their own spoken language in China but all of them use the same writing system. It keeps everybody together and it's always been like that. It functions very well
Except they're all Chinese, and just subgroups
Cantonese are Cantonese.
Tibetans are different tho, and I know there is a growing movement of seperatism there
>growing
Western propaganda.
Tibetan and Uyghur nationalism is a dead meme.
You can pay your respects.
You can't kill off a culture without genocide or sterilisation of some sort
Yes.
as long as they live there is the potential for nationalism
and seperatism
It is a genocide <:Maoflag1:338741497610502167>
What you are speaking about isn't rly diversity
those same cultures have lived there for hundreds if not thousands of years
they're united by history and as you said language
Do they still resist to this day?
And also, aren't they all racially chinese?
wtf is racially chinese lmao
Amongst ethnic groups there is still genetic difference
e.g. Britons are racially different from Russians whilst still being white
basically
Japanese ppl look different from chinese ppl
although they're both asian
@Deleted User Where are you from?
Australia
Westerners only think about Han or Cantonese when they think about Chinese ethnicity.
You're forgetting all 50 others.
FInally he's dead

although they're all ethnically chinese
