Young secessionists can work now, drilling and writing theory. But then when nothing happens, frustration could spill over. This is the only problem with militarism. It is easy to frustrate and self-destruct.
You have to analysis what it is that you are trying to protect. That's the thing you should focus on, not defending it. The only way the Spartan model can work if there is infinite wars to fight. Which again means it can hit a wall like Fascism.
It's horrid. But so is all of life if you really emphasise with it. Nature is very cruel already, even without us. But this is why I went for the rural life, it is the least amount of suffering.
