If someone with a higher than average IQ and consistently advocates for a religion that would stone them, then yeah, IQ measurments are probably useless.
Just because you don't like this particular result, doesn't mean that the scoring system is useless.
Gays having a higher IQ (if this is true) is nothing but an interesting correlation, the reason why this was observed would interest me.
Perhaps logic used in the IQ test is not the only form of reason ????

IQ tests can tell you a lot about how fast someone's logical decision making process is.
It's very useful for making life choices actually, you shouldn't attempt to become a rocket scientist with an IQ of 90 just as you shouldn't become a car mechanic with an IQ of 150.
