I really appreciate the Communist Manifesto criticisms of capitalism and I agree with them there, but I dont believe in the communist economic system of collectivozing every sector of the economy or the equal distribution of the means and goods of production.

I believe in private ownership and the potential of the individual, but im not a complete individualist, for example some government operated companies are good along sode private ones, I also believe in universal college, healthcare, and increasing funding for other social programs. I think both individualism and collectivism have there place in the economy. I dont believe in equal distribution for work thats not equal and that private comptetion generally helps with standard of living and technological advancement.

Well if you look at the two major Socialist Nations (Maoist China and the USSR before becoming revisionist without Stalin) both saw great leaps in technology and standard of living. Both nations saw a significant increase in the quality of life by the fact Infant mortality dropped, literacy rates increased, and industrialization was expanded and the ending of famine (Name one famine after "Holodomor" and the Great Chinese Famine, both of which were due to weather conditions and rebelious, unpurged bourgeoisie)
