Hinduism is not a unifying religion. It's a mere pagan religion. The British called anyone who practised some form of Paganism in the Indian subcontinent, a Hindu.
There are a hundred different versions of Hinduism.
There are many minor Indians religions but I could say the same about Islam. Sunni, Shia. And before you bring up orthodox Christianity , Coptic, Protestantism or Catholicism those religious wars ended hundreds of years ago. Islam’s hasn’t ( and no the troubles doesn’t count )
Lol, this is completely different.
Sunni and Shia Islam are still pretty united. There's not much difference between the two; worship the same god, follow the same religion, follow the same prophet.
Yes but explain the war in Yemen
Hindus have different gods they favour, different folklore they believe in, and different rituals they practise.
A war between two regional powers?
But it started with the Sunni Shia divide that exists in Yemen
no, not really.
That’s why Yemen was better split
It started because Iran attempted to use Yemen as another proxy, from which it could encircle Saudi Arabia.
Saudi and Persia didn’t just cause a war in Yemen for the fuck of it. They exploited the turmoil after the Arab spring
But Iran exploited the Shia community
Yep, they did.
That doesn't imply very much.
Iran has attempted to the same in Pakistan for years, and has failed repeatedly.
Well Pakistan is technically an American Ally and is much larger
the sunni shia infightig is just deception to further their movemnets \
its as old as the fall of meccan
Although in my view the us should abandon Pakistan and Afghanistan and support India to undermine China
refugees made a pact were allowed to move in after conflict. 2 years later these refugees took over meccan with the help of an outside army
the men from meccan were butchered, the women and childern devided allong mohammads men
lol, not gonna happen. India is firmly a Russian ally.
meccan came know as mecca
and the US was never a Pakistani ally. The Afghans would very much like for the us to 'abandon' them.
They buy both American and Russian. If America totally threw Pakistan under the bus they could lean to the U.S
They bought Russian S-400's? Pretty much their entire Air Force consists of Russian-manufactured airplanes.
And India has already bought a Russian Aircraft Carrier too.
They are a failed state. The us should fully support India in the Kashmir issue and embargo China but not India to undermine China and win over India. And on your point India do but some American. There a regional powerhouse so they don’t need to be a puppet of anyone
>regional powerhouse
>india
If you were the Indian government with American bases in Pakistan you would buy Russian. It’s the sensible thing to do
By 2030 India’s population will overtake China. A few decades after that it’s likely their GDP will too
>The us should fully support India in the Kashmir issue and embargo China but not India to undermine China and win over India.
Ehh, not gonna happen. The issue is strictly between Pakistan and India, an accord (Simla agreement) was signed back in the 1970s. China? Maybe, but that's only due to the nation's proximity.
So yeah, a bilateral issue.
I know The is won’t do it but it would be the smart thing to do. Although I have to say my bad on this one. We should have had a religiously secular state of the raj
So for that I’ll swallow my pride that was Britain’s fault
>By 2030 India’s population will overtake China. A few decades after that it’s likely their GDP will too
Unlikely, China's GDP is much larger and India's growth rate is not going to be enough to match China.
>By 2030 India’s population will overtake China. A few decades after that it’s likely their GDP will too
False. India will never overtake China. All indicators point towards a slowing/stagnant India. A study done by an Indian advisor to Modi has found that Indian government has exaggerated their economic growth. A 3-4% annual growth is more exact, not the 7% figure given by the Indian government.
Even with those exaggerated figures in mind, India is no longer the fastest growing economy.
