There has never been a unified India, historically.

2019-08-02 18:58:47 UTC

There are thousands of different ethnicities, languages and castes in India.

2019-08-02 18:59:28 UTC

That’s why the average IQ of India is far higher then Pakistan

2019-08-02 19:00:16 UTC

Not forgetting the North–South India split, based on the Aryan/Dravidian dividing line.

2019-08-02 19:00:49 UTC

But they have a large Hindu population unifying the region

2019-08-02 19:01:44 UTC

Hinduism is not a unifying religion. It's a mere pagan religion. The British called anyone who practised some form of Paganism in the Indian subcontinent, a Hindu.

2019-08-02 19:02:05 UTC

There are a hundred different versions of Hinduism.

2019-08-02 19:03:53 UTC

There are many minor Indians religions but I could say the same about Islam. Sunni, Shia. And before you bring up orthodox Christianity , Coptic, Protestantism or Catholicism those religious wars ended hundreds of years ago. Islam’s hasn’t ( and no the troubles doesn’t count )

2019-08-02 19:04:21 UTC

Lol, this is completely different.

2019-08-02 19:05:05 UTC

Sunni and Shia Islam are still pretty united. There's not much difference between the two; worship the same god, follow the same religion, follow the same prophet.

2019-08-02 19:05:28 UTC

Yes but explain the war in Yemen

2019-08-02 19:05:47 UTC

Hindus have different gods they favour, different folklore they believe in, and different rituals they practise.

2019-08-02 19:06:02 UTC

A war between two regional powers?

2019-08-02 19:06:32 UTC

But it started with the Sunni Shia divide that exists in Yemen

2019-08-02 19:06:44 UTC

no, not really.

2019-08-02 19:06:45 UTC

That’s why Yemen was better split

2019-08-02 19:07:34 UTC

It started because Iran attempted to use Yemen as another proxy, from which it could encircle Saudi Arabia.

2019-08-02 19:07:43 UTC

Saudi and Persia didn’t just cause a war in Yemen for the fuck of it. They exploited the turmoil after the Arab spring

2019-08-02 19:07:58 UTC

But Iran exploited the Shia community

2019-08-02 19:08:32 UTC

Yep, they did.

2019-08-02 19:09:03 UTC

That doesn't imply very much.

2019-08-02 19:09:23 UTC

Iran has attempted to the same in Pakistan for years, and has failed repeatedly.

2019-08-02 19:09:53 UTC

Well Pakistan is technically an American Ally and is much larger

2019-08-02 19:10:03 UTC

the sunni shia infightig is just deception to further their movemnets \

2019-08-02 19:10:11 UTC

its as old as the fall of meccan

2019-08-02 19:10:37 UTC

Although in my view the us should abandon Pakistan and Afghanistan and support India to undermine China

2019-08-02 19:10:52 UTC

refugees made a pact were allowed to move in after conflict. 2 years later these refugees took over meccan with the help of an outside army

2019-08-02 19:11:27 UTC

the men from meccan were butchered, the women and childern devided allong mohammads men

2019-08-02 19:11:34 UTC

lol, not gonna happen. India is firmly a Russian ally.

2019-08-02 19:11:44 UTC

meccan came know as mecca

2019-08-02 19:12:18 UTC

and the US was never a Pakistani ally. The Afghans would very much like for the us to 'abandon' them.

2019-08-02 19:12:19 UTC

They buy both American and Russian. If America totally threw Pakistan under the bus they could lean to the U.S

2019-08-02 19:13:28 UTC

They bought Russian S-400's? Pretty much their entire Air Force consists of Russian-manufactured airplanes.

2019-08-02 19:14:14 UTC

And India has already bought a Russian Aircraft Carrier too.

2019-08-02 19:14:30 UTC

They are a failed state. The us should fully support India in the Kashmir issue and embargo China but not India to undermine China and win over India. And on your point India do but some American. There a regional powerhouse so they don’t need to be a puppet of anyone

2019-08-02 19:15:01 UTC

>regional powerhouse

2019-08-02 19:15:01 UTC

>india

2019-08-02 19:15:15 UTC

If you were the Indian government with American bases in Pakistan you would buy Russian. It’s the sensible thing to do

2019-08-02 19:15:56 UTC

By 2030 India’s population will overtake China. A few decades after that it’s likely their GDP will too

2019-08-02 19:16:45 UTC

>The us should fully support India in the Kashmir issue and embargo China but not India to undermine China and win over India.

Ehh, not gonna happen. The issue is strictly between Pakistan and India, an accord (Simla agreement) was signed back in the 1970s. China? Maybe, but that's only due to the nation's proximity.

2019-08-02 19:17:10 UTC

So yeah, a bilateral issue.
