it seys serbian and its almost the same so why not serbo croatian name for the language chanell,its language of west southslavs

My question is why not a Slav language which everyone will know.

jugoslav alone is split between 2 group which understand just a bit of each other,all slavs have a lot of words in common but a lot of others for example we croats got a lot from turks,hungarians,german words(austrians) and so do others from their ex oppresors
