Wait I remembered someone was afraid of overpopulation and wanted some extra resources to run their countries.
Not to mention cheap labor.
@Prometheus im surprised you are still a capitalist after all this time. Whats keeping you to the economic system?
Well it's more of an ideal of Capitalism, than an existing form of Capitalism. I am thinking of leaving that mindset, but Ayn Rand went quite deep.
I mean I can't completely side with collectivism as it roots out the individual and I want to have control of myself rather than drowning myself to a cause.
If I am not for Capitalism I am still for Individualism as I find it allows more diversity of character and capacity to be the master of your own fate in your own rite.
It's more like if I live, I live alone and if I die, I die alone.
To let live and not get in other people's way until they get into mine.
Adopting personal responsibity seems more satisfying than wanting.
I want to succeed with my own ability somehow
I wasn't finished yet
I'll continue further
I don't think I'll ever be fully a Capitalist because I remain skeptical and don't trust the establishment one bit.
But I don't know any other way than free exchange.
I guess Anarchism does seem pretty appealing to me but I can't imagine a society without a state.
Especially when it comes to crimes and evil that people do on their own. I still feel there should be courts. Even if they are imperfect as they are, I mean it's better than nothing.
I don't know if you read Thomas Paine, but the role of the State was a necessary evil, as men are flawed or evil or you can say unruly. If all people were moral and good we wouldn't need the State. When we can't self govern, the State does become a kind of necessary entity.
I know it's a logical contradiction, especially to freedom but I don't know better than that.
The State has lost its right of existence
Those in power are corrupt to the core
Yes, I agree
Perpetual war is the norm
True
But what can we do.
?
As in praxis or dealing with the state?
Im trying not to be some pseudo lmfao
your logic
doesn't make any sense at all
I mean in the case of perpetual war
I actually find it pretty hot to fuck someones wife or gf in from of them
And internal corruption.
haha
Burning the head of the hydra
All heads must be destroyed
But then it is replaced with another hydra. The cycle seems never ending.
So you kill it again and again
Well you need power for that
We live in a generation that was proven that police stating and advanced military is nothing against Guerrilla war
Have you heard of the song “out in the fields”
No I haven't
“No banner or religion can ever stop the bullet from a gun”
But it feels an like enforced order, but I agree, no order is without a bullet of a gun.
Its only a matter of time
But you fear that someday, that gun isn't pointed at you. Something like karma
I mean the proletariats of today become the bourgeoisie of tomorrow.
Similar the overthrow of them leads to replacement of power again.
The cycle just repeats itself, quite nicely proven by Marx.
The bourgeoise live in a state of “the great game”
If we could get a nice way, to exchange wealth in such a way in which we could avoid conflict and have maximum peace.
There are indication we could get there. Idk to tbh
Anyway what do you think of this UBI(Universal Basic Income) idea.
I think it's enslavement
At least that's what I think.
