lmao

2019-07-11 07:59:08 UTC

I would say yeah since payment should be a mixture of value of work/hours worked/ value of product but it would be far preferable than work based on hours

2019-07-11 07:59:11 UTC

I've been there before. If I care to join, I will look it up again @Monolith But if you're so incessant on him debating me, he can talk to me.

```If you are paying workers using a fixed rate based on the items exchange values, has wage labor changed to not be a wage anymore?```
@im in the middle of nowhere bruh I am asking how this is not a wage
2019-07-11 08:02:18 UTC
It still would be since by definition a wage is a fixed payment
2019-07-11 08:02:45 UTC
Thanks
2019-07-11 08:02:50 UTC
Glad I'm not trippin
2019-07-11 08:03:02 UTC
Why did Leah say otherwise?
2019-07-11 08:03:55 UTC
@im in the middle of nowhere bruh I don't truly know.
As far as I am aware, wage labor is a tenet socialism erases. Yet here they are with wages.
2019-07-11 08:04:11 UTC
There is another argument I found saying *Socialism has a different wage type*
2019-07-11 08:04:28 UTC
But it's still based on capital and exchange. it's just planned
2019-07-11 08:04:34 UTC
so I am not seeing the difference here
2019-07-11 08:11:59 UTC
Yeah I’ve always been under the assumption that socialists hated wages
2019-07-11 08:39:38 UTC
I guess the hatred is market administered wages vs planned wages
2019-07-11 08:39:47 UTC
sounds like exploitation to me
2019-07-11 09:56:00 UTC
Eh
2019-07-11 10:45:41 UTC
@Steve™ you post a ridiculous amount of trash memes/reaction images
Thank you
@Ned Kelly please add an option for "idc" or "why does this matter"
What does it matter today that people died in the past? Nothing! I care as little for the Holocaust as the Holodomor. If you wanna help stop a bigger problem try focusing on the mass extinctions of the Holocene. You are living in it, take some actions against it if you care so much.
2019-07-11 11:21:36 UTC
Even if someone died in the past, how is it justification for the now?
2019-07-11 11:27:23 UTC
@Cyborg i notice you had the displeasure of interacting with Leah
that's our resident trans she has a lot of issues but she belongs to us so be careful okay
2019-07-11 11:28:02 UTC
@succubust Ah, right right
2019-07-11 11:28:12 UTC
does this happen alot
2019-07-11 11:36:09 UTC
yeah
2019-07-11 11:36:24 UTC
that's what we get for welcoming *all ideologies*
2019-07-11 11:36:42 UTC
she can believe in being absolutely trash and we can't really deny that perspective
2019-07-11 12:21:28 UTC
@Clincoin it lets us learn
2019-07-11 12:21:35 UTC
Not step 2 times into the same stone
2019-07-11 12:21:54 UTC
Learn from the past, but don't live in it
2019-07-11 12:22:01 UTC
So don't use the past as a political tool
2019-07-11 12:22:11 UTC
As you shouldn't use religion as one
2019-07-11 12:28:47 UTC
2019-07-11 12:32:42 UTC
I would genuinely not be opposed to doing something like the unity from fallout
2019-07-11 12:32:55 UTC
Take away the megalomaniacal leadership and the core idea is good
2019-07-11 12:34:38 UTC
For anyone who doesn't know, it's essentially forcibly evolving the human species, with biological scientific theories and tech
2019-07-11 12:41:39 UTC
until we find ways to make humans live on Mars without any equipment...
2019-07-11 12:42:00 UTC
It'd be easier to change mars
2019-07-11 12:42:08 UTC
Than to make humans that invincible
2019-07-11 12:42:45 UTC
But i truly believe if you let science run free unhindered by moral and testing regulations, you could do near godlike things
2019-07-11 12:42:59 UTC
CRSPR has always interested me in particular
