Lol but it wasnt layed out like that
Depends on the variant. There are different Mk II's
There isn't much consistency though with Casspirs I noticed.
Well it had a storage container where the spare wheel is and the spare wheel was where it is on the mk1
Yup exactly what I've been seeing in my reference images as well
It was also a bit shorter but it was definitely a casspir
Some have steel storage compartments mounted on the exterior and others not
There was a shorter Casspir called the Casspir Dumpy
But never entered service afaik.
Hmm could be
My moms boyfriend was a mech troopie and he told me a funny story the other day of a guy who fractured his skull when he tried to rambo kick the doors open, unfortunately the doors are spring mounted so if you kick only one door open itll swing back and as he was jumping out the door basically b*tch slapped him back inside
Haha damn he must have had a pretty bad day!
Indeed
Rendering out the Buffel now with the new tires
Looks so much better now
Is the bonnet of the Samil Kwevoel just that mesh with a frame?
Don't tell me I have to model the bloody engine too 😰
i dont know if it is you need.....it is forum of war of angola war
Ja can't really see the bonnet whether it's possible to see the engine through it. I hope not as I'd like to avoid modeling the engine. But if it is visible then I have no choice. In the meantime I'm modeling the soft skinned variant
Will model the armoured cab as well but not just yet. Just need to get the frame of the vehicle right before I do the armoured cab.
ill check if i cant find any info
Alright lekker
okay good news you dont have to model the engine
since the radiator is behind the mesh you cant see the engine
Fantastic 😉
I have it
ok
I think in the images there were the two versions of bonnet ... but this is something difficult to distinguish
Possibly
there are two versions
one with the mesh and one with slats like a ww2 halftrack almost
Got the windscreen rounded. Now to get the rest of the cabin is a bit tricky. Curved surfaces are so much harder to do than boxy straight edges like the armoured cab variant. That'll actually be easier to model.
