I need to do a whole lot more of being what a true Christian is meant to be though

All you gotta is don't ever doubt the bible. Everything I here at church and studies is good for my soul quite literally.

all you have to do to be a christian is to have faith in the Lord, whatever else you do is simply to walk with God. Simply accepting Christ as your savior will get you into Heaven, but what you do on Earth to please the Lord is a different story. We all sin, but attempting to avoid such sin is where I've found myself to be closest to the Lord. I also suggest reading through the Bible, but reading it alone won't help you much. There are explanatory books and videos to follow which will lead you through the Bible. My personal favorite is *Thru The Bible with Dr. James Vernon McGee*. He was a pastor from Oklahoma and you can find his series on their website or youtube. I hope this helps someone, have a blessed night :)

The characters in Harry Potter sucked compared to LOTR imo. I'd say the Harry Potter books were better in the sense they got straight to the point. But I'd make the argument that they were written in very different times during very different cultures for very different people's, but the LOTR movies were so much better in almost every way. I would say that the Narnia movies were even better than Harry Potter considering the Potter movies were just so low brow compared to the fantasy movies of that time.

Theres also the fact that Harry Potter was drawn out to oblivion with 8 whole movies. Like who doesnt get bored with that? It's kind of like watching most disney movies nowadays. It never seemed to me that they actually care to tell a story but more see how much money they can milk out of a popular franchise.

Thats why I wasn't the biggest fan of the Hobbit movies. I love them, but they dont give me the original feels that LOTR did.

Deism isn't really a religion though as they dont worship really their said deity most of the time. Maybe they should just say or ask "what's your belief system?"

Everyone needs some more revival. America has gotten so far away from its Christian morals so don’t feel bad. Work to be better and closer to God.

My suggestion is pray for like 10 minutes a day if not, more.

Make a connection with God that is unbreakable. Nothing will stand between you and Christ and with Him, all things are possible.

You should be more respectful. People who read the Bible could walk away with the same impression you have of the Quran, and many have.
