Looks like the person who had to put the emote down first. Is it a mod?
Kaladin did the reactions, but it looks like he's un-reacting to reactions that don't apply to him if they have already been selected by other people, which includes the Islam one. So I think it's real.
Also brb
How so?
Yup. So far no Hindus or Buddhist
It's easily LOTR tbh, always loved thr books and movies, was never into Harry Potter
Everyone needs some more revival. America has gotten so far away from its Christian morals so don’t feel bad. Work to be better and closer to God.
My suggestion is pray for like 10 minutes a day if not, more.
Make a connection with God that is unbreakable. Nothing will stand between you and Christ and with Him, all things are possible.
You are the glove and God is the man. If you let Him into your life and heart, you will become so much more and so much more powerful than a glove on a table. Have the spirit of God reside in you.
Probably should’ve have posted that in faith and religion for anyone who is feeling worthless and unimportant.
There's 2 now 😊
Have you read the Quran and the messed up crap you worship? Goodness me this world.....
I don't know if I can take it anymore
So out of curiousity, are you a conservative and if so what variety of conservatism do you subscribe to? The most common variety in this server is American-variety conservatism/fusionism (i.e. social conservatism fused with quasi-libertarianism).
You should be more respectful. People who read the Bible could walk away with the same impression you have of the Quran, and many have.
I will not respect evil ideals.
We can have a civil debate without throwing insults and being disrespectful, no?
You don't have to respect Islam. I'm just saying if someone who subscribes to Islam hasn't been an asshole to you, then you should be respectful of them.
The difference between the Bible, is that it wasn't inspired by a mass murdering genocidal maniac that was hell bent on destroying civilizations and enslaving millions of people based on different beliefs
Little H with all do respect, shouldn't he have the right to practice what he please, without fear of others?
I'm not attacking him, but I have to get straight to the point or I'm just deflecting from the moral responsibility I have to fight for what is right.
what fight is that?
A non-Christian who doesn't believe the Bible was inspired by God might say the same thing about the Bible. Whether or not you think this is correct, it's a way for you to see yourself in his/her shoes.
And it definitely sounded like an attack with stuff like "Messed up crap you worship", "Goodness me this world" etc.
I can agree to an extent, but it's just like letting people willfully harm themselves or others while I say it is "their" "freedom" to do so. I am of just as much burden from the things someone does through those beliefs as the person committing them as I have the responsibility to prove and ultimately guide someone down the right path paved by Christ.
Most people aren't going to be very receptive to your message if you talk to them like that
Because based on the "freedom" argument. You could say anything is religious freedom if you do not have a standard of morals. Because then we can start saying my truth is different from someone else's, and that murder to you is just a sacrifice to my pagan god making it a "moral" thing. (hypothetically speaking). Jesus mocked and ridiculed ideas from the Pharisee's many times. I see nothing wrong in doing as well as it morally just to do so. Ridiculous ideas deserve ridicule. Just the same with our political climate right now
Christ said to love your enemy, did he not? To save someone must not start by personally attacking them, that will simply increase their defenses. We all have the right to practice what we please, salvation will come to those who accept it
The only reason we are in such a position of loss and weakness with regards to conservatism and our innate responsibility to push for moral good is because of how soft we Christians have become in the last few decades.
I agree with that, but I believe mutual respect is also important. could you guys perhaps move this to <#801313357113458698>, however?
I love him, just as much as I love every other sinner that walks this earth. That doesn't mean I have to be okay with it or be nice about it. Based on the golden rule, "treat others as you would like to be treated", if I were wrong about my whole entire existence, I wouldn't enjoy having my ideas mocked or ridiculed by any means, but I would explain my point of view and like to have a serious conversation with someone about that. Jesus, Paul, and all the other apostles were brutal in their mocking of the ridiculous ideas of their time. Now, maybe I can be nicer, sure. I'm sorry if I hurt his/her feelings, but it's not my job to make people feel okay with truth, it is only my job to share it and let God do the rest. **I'll go to <#801313357113458698> now**
I respect your feelings on the matter, but to be frank with you, I'm too tired to refute it. have a blessed evening
You too lol
I am sorry for insulting you or hurting your feelings if I did or not, but I feel that it is very important that I share the truth with you about your existence as it is crucial for where you end up after you die. Your soul is immensely important to me, and I would hate for another to be lost to the wages of sin. Please if you will, indulge in what I know to be true, and ask me anything that I hope I can answer for you about the Bible or anything thereof 🙂
