the internet is fiber optic ..it's not effected by 'weather' events so much unless massive volcanoes or severe storms are knocking down trees over above surface lines to homes, or the whole earth is breaking up and shattering the lines of the internet

internet is even wireless in some areas of the planet ...so landline problems shouldn't effect it either

most telcom based internet services are all req'd by law to have backup systems to keep lines open for emergency ..so even internet is a protected system from 'outages' except for tree down near a neighborhood

my isp has generators and battery backup

its discord wide the image upload issues

and the funny thing is i'm not sharing images from discord to discord most of the time...it's generally from somewhere else

sorry had an issue where memes were not uploading was checking to see if it was channel or discord wide and yes discord wide was haveing upload errors ptnn channel has memes popping up 10 to 20 minutes later (after reading above i guess this old news)
