what you can do is overclock it on host system and it should show up with a higher clock speed on the vm

idk how newer systems work but on my core 2 duo i just ramp up the FSB a whole bunch and take it from 2.83ghz to 3.74ghz

it also overclocks the ram by a lot as well

I just wanted to use Ryzen Master for Overclocking because I am really not that familiar with the Topic and the software provides auto overclocking

which ryzen are you running?

if its not 1000 or 2000 series overclocking barely does anything afaik

its not like core 2 cpus where you can practically double your cpu performance

yes and if you put multiple partitions on there you can have mupltiple backups for different devices.

@SlimtheKid the server will be running a modded minecraft server after i get it cleaned and upgraded a little more. Needs a caddy and anther cpu. The gpu with thr missing fan is a r9 280x. If it works, ill fix and sell it. The others do work anf will be on display till i decide to sell.

@benri its got a single xeon currently. I think its a x5620 at 2.67ghz. Its a quad core. Going to get rid of that cpu and do 2 x5675. Those are 6c 12thread xeons at 3.06ghz which is max configuration for this server. It currently has 64gb of ram.
