Photo shopped the gun?
Mohawks are only allowed if you are special forces paratrooper on D day
If you want to hook up with a real contractor outfit let me know and I’ll give you their name
Blackwater is old news
@SPRTNWRRYR1974 Army regs prohibit extreme or faddish hairstyles, including extreme fades, unnatural coloring, shaved in designs, mohawks etc..... unless, as was said, you are in SF or SFOD-D (Delta).
Ok.
Cool story bro.
Barracks life is mostly shits and giggles
So Some guy from Army Reserves contacted me
I see that I’m gonna be a weekend Warrior now
I'll keep that in mind, thank you!

I seriously thought the headline was about the usa for a quick second. Then I realized it was just a country undergoing a coup. 🤷♂️
Kinda looks like Nancy Pelosi...

My advice as a Ressrvist: stay away from the Reserves. Everyone I know (myself included) hated their time in the Reserves.
Myanmar is a f..ing legend they banned Facebook
@ThiccSpicyGenderRevealParty It's as if the Reserves received all the stupid parts of the regular Army (hurry up and wait, poor leadership, people not wanting to do their jobs, etc.) But kept none of the good parts.
My Dad's experience was that he was in for a year before they realized that they didn't have any of the correct paperwork (mind you, he was an officer, had been to OCS, the whole 9 yards). Since they didn't need his job anymore, they just told him to stop coming.
I had a SGT while on active-duty who'd been a Reservist medic. She stopped going to her drills because they never trained and only watched movies. She was going to be charged as AWOL until she brought that up with IG. She got switched over to the Guard.
Finally, there's me, in a medical unit that has us all sit around for SHARP, EO, and the occasional medical information briefing. I've been there two years and have never been issued any of my gear, I always have to turn in the same paperwork every month 'cause no one files any of it, apparently, and all of my transfer requests get "lost".
If you want to be a weekend warrior, go Guard. It's still hit or miss, but the hit ratio is a lot higher.
ouch
Nah active is where it's at. Might as well send it and go all the way instead of the weekend crap. Sure it's crappy half the time but the other half is pretty good for the most part
There's a trade off. The question is, do you want to hate your life half the time, but make really good friends and have great stories and benefits? Or do you want to only have a weekend a month (and a two week annual drill) where you hate life, but not have as great comradery or benefits?
If you find the right place on AD, I highly recommend it. It is a great experience, but remember to be careful and think about what you're doing. It's a 4 year contract minimum, so you better enjoy the job you choose.
that why i wanted to go and join the Artillery for Active Duty
Big Gun go boom
13 Bang-bang or some other artie job?
the 13 One
I knew a few people who were 13B's they loved their jobs.
Back when i was homeschooled for like 2 years, the head teacher's father was a ww2 vet and was part of an Artillery Crew, and thats probably what got me interested in Artillery in general to begin with
I can see that
Do y'all swim in maple syrup lol
Sorry that was a tad racist.

Im talking to the Army Reserves guy
he's selling it to me real well
It's their job to sell the military. That's how they get people
<@342170731091722241> you'd most likely have to go into CSOR before entering JTF-2.
