EVE Online currently has an actual war going on in the game right now

currently its lasted 7 months with around 13,700 combatants total

The thing is, all the fighting has been confined to a few systems and when almost all 13,700 combatants showed up, the servers literally stopped functioning

The current Belligerents consist of the Coalition PAPI, which was formed in an attempt to overthrow the Imperium, the Space America i mentioned a while ago in general, complete with space memelord trump leading it

which was also the most powerful faction in the game

Both sides have dedicated the entirety of their factions to a total war of extermination, meaning it doesnt stop until one side has been swept from the face of New Eden Entirely

one of the recent battles took place within the system, M2-XFE, which was a territory in the Imperium's home territory,

the battle itself started as a skirmish that spiraled out of control into a massacre for both sides

around 1,200 player owned Titans ( EVE's version of the UNSC Infinity) were deployed and 250 were destroyed

for context, a single ship costs around 3-5,000 to build in USD

total costs in damages was around 340,000 USD

And that was right before New Year's Eve

around 130 PAPI Titans were stranded in the battlefield at that time when the servers shut down for maintenance and when PAPI came back for them, they were instead ambushed by over 4,000 of the Goonswarm, decade long veterans of the game that served the Imperium as their Elite guards

after that, PAPI withdrew all forces from the system in what ended as a massive rout

which then resulted in multiple crashes and bugs

in the end Pyrrhic Victory was declared for the Imperium, and thus the end of the battle of M2-XFE

That in a movie, with heaps of nasty space gore

@SPRTNWRRYR1974 Army regs prohibit extreme or faddish hairstyles, including extreme fades, unnatural coloring, shaved in designs, mohawks etc..... unless, as was said, you are in SF or SFOD-D (Delta).
