With that said, their equipment and personnel are more than capable of being great offensive weapons if the need arose..each year their budget grows and discussions on less restrictions and wider “applications” for their equipment are brought up constantly. With the worlds 5th largest military budget, it’s on the way to becoming a great deterrent in the region
Basically our way of keeping Russia in check in Europe without actually doing anything
That whole line of Eastern European nations are a staging point to keep Russia in check... some years back around the Ukraine incident and the buildup of Russian troops on eastern Europe’s border, brought a similar show of force from the US and some NATO nations. Both sides using military drills to posture
i played competitive for like the entire time i was on the game
shit is cancer
Militarily, we are on good terms with Germany. Not much else though. Japan is probably our greatest ally besides the UK.
We definitely need Germany in Europe to be a solid partner
I just put this in <#801170142359978015>, but I need all the help I can get. I'm in my schools Speech and Debate team this year for state and the debate topic right now is "On balance, the benefits of creating the United States Space Force outweigh the harms"
Any thoughts?
Well, if you consider the projection of us power into space to be a benefit, then that could be one.
Another is that it adds an extra layer of defense that isn't limited to combat within the earth's atmosphere. Perhaps another benefit is the expansion of space exploration.
Yeah, I dont have space exploration but I can definitely talk about it. Right now all I have are points about the economy, space debris, and better opportunities, or at least availability for opportunities for cooperation between the private space sector (space x and nasa and other smaller ones) and the public one
On the exceptionally rare situation that we do make some form of contact with aliens, it would be good to have some form of military force capable of operating in space
on the more realistic hand, a space military gives another front Rival nations dont have the means to contest, meaning we could go straight past the issue of enemy navies and ground forces
I kinda wanna know
but i'm pretty sure the joint chief of staff medal and the other one go under the name-tag

not really, besides it being really expensive
damn sucks to not have been doing PT for a whole month then getting back at it 😦
working out has been a bit hard
there is the argument that it could start an arms race with other countries, but really, that's a possibility with any and every military or weaponry advancement there ever has been. It may also cause temporary problems with the air force as its already very involved in space and upper atmosphere causing the air force to be weakened hence also our global military dominance along with it
Somethings not right here
Its an modernization of the m60 with an m1 abrams turret
It's an FrankenTank
Hmm
Tankenstein if you will
Ah the M60 2000
I think it was used by the Marines some time before fully adopting the Abrams
Maybe to familiarize them with the tanks that would be supporting them?
As in so they can recognize them and not shoot them
probably
The space force arm of the military is a complete joke
how lol
