oh interesting

2021-01-22 20:31:34 UTC

Yo I just picked up some steel cased 223 for 15 bucks

2021-01-22 20:31:41 UTC

20 rounds for 15

2021-01-22 20:33:13 UTC

75¢ for steel? Oof

2021-01-22 20:47:58 UTC

Hey I got a few questions, what kind of knife can I carry and how long the blade needs to be ?

2021-01-22 20:48:54 UTC

The length of a knife that you can carry for self-defense will greatly depend on your state. Tennessee for instance has zero knife laws but I know many do.

2021-01-22 20:50:33 UTC

Well I live in puerto rico lol

2021-01-22 20:56:08 UTC

This is really old but the only other link I found was in Spanish and had lots of dead links.

In general, if you're carrying a knife for self-defense longer is better so that you can reach vital organs but then you have to worry about legality of having a long knife and what kind of blade you're allowed to have.

2021-01-22 20:58:34 UTC

Ok

2021-01-22 21:05:28 UTC

I have a manual switch blade that less than 4 inch, I read the law and it states that I can use a blade that's less than 4 inch

2021-01-22 21:05:36 UTC

So that's why I'm asking

2021-01-22 21:13:40 UTC

@Kaladin @Deleted User If it can’t handle the steel, it doesn’t deserve the brass.

2021-01-22 21:14:00 UTC

As the saying goes.

2021-01-22 21:14:40 UTC

@mr fibsh Depends, what state/providence do you live in?

2021-01-22 21:15:37 UTC

Oh, Puerto rico

2021-01-22 21:15:55 UTC

Yeah

2021-01-22 21:16:06 UTC

Ok so forget carrying any fixed blades unless for a art, sport, profession, occupation or trade.

2021-01-22 21:16:39 UTC

Mine is folded

2021-01-22 21:17:04 UTC

No folding knives with blades less than 3 inches

2021-01-22 21:17:15 UTC

Tang to the tip of the blade

2021-01-22 21:17:18 UTC

For measurement

2021-01-22 21:19:04 UTC

What's a tang ?

2021-01-22 21:21:58 UTC

The part of the knife that goes in the handle

2021-01-22 21:22:29 UTC

Oh ok

2021-01-22 21:23:26 UTC

I measured it

2021-01-22 21:23:46 UTC

It's a 3 /4.8 inch

2021-01-22 21:25:54 UTC

In other words , it's less than 4 inch

2021-01-22 21:56:16 UTC

The carpenter in me just died

2021-01-22 21:57:05 UTC

3 4/8 inc

2021-01-22 22:14:23 UTC

4/8= 1 half

2021-01-22 22:14:26 UTC

I heard this silencer was good

2021-01-22 22:53:49 UTC

I’m on one of those states and what’s written isn’t completely accurate. We can’t purchase new magazines over 10 rounds. We can carry with more than 10 if it’s an older magazine.

2021-01-22 22:54:52 UTC

Long story short I will buy anyone’s old u notch glocks magazines for double the price of a new one 😏

2021-01-22 22:59:47 UTC

Lol nice

2021-01-22 23:13:17 UTC

@mr fibsh Needs to be under 3 inches

2021-01-22 23:13:27 UTC

Below three inches

2021-01-22 23:13:49 UTC

Basically where the handle ends —> tip of the blade.
