Not really

2021-01-22 20:13:33 UTC

Just more security screenings at hotels and public venues

2021-01-22 20:13:47 UTC

Change in security policy.

2021-01-22 20:13:59 UTC

fair enough. no gun policy changes though which is good

2021-01-22 20:14:34 UTC

And enforcement of background checks at private gun sales/gun shows.

2021-01-22 20:14:35 UTC

Etc

2021-01-22 20:14:39 UTC

Standard stuff.

2021-01-22 20:14:47 UTC

yeah..

2021-01-22 20:15:11 UTC

Bunch of other stuff though, put in place by federal legislation not Nevada

2021-01-22 20:15:13 UTC

Such as bump stocks.

2021-01-22 20:16:03 UTC

I honestly still don't even know what a bumpstock is

2021-01-22 20:17:53 UTC

Basically:

2021-01-22 20:18:10 UTC

It’s a shock that when you fire it just knocks your find back on the trigger again

2021-01-22 20:18:12 UTC

Or dumps

2021-01-22 20:18:27 UTC

It used the inertia of the recoil of the gun to move your hand basically

2021-01-22 20:18:44 UTC

huh

2021-01-22 20:18:49 UTC

You can bump fire your weapon without a bump stock

2021-01-22 20:19:01 UTC

Ok ok let me dumb it down

2021-01-22 20:19:03 UTC

my cousin said you can get the same effect with a shoelace

2021-01-22 20:19:11 UTC

You can

2021-01-22 20:19:19 UTC

nono that was a huh as in interesting

2021-01-22 20:19:19 UTC

Bump stocks just make it easier.

2021-01-22 20:19:24 UTC

not confusion

2021-01-22 20:19:27 UTC

lol

2021-01-22 20:19:34 UTC

okay understandable thanks

2021-01-22 20:22:01 UTC

A bump stock basically just used the kinetic energy the gun produced when fired to push the weapon into the stock (it has a spring to push it back) and the stock pushes the weapon forward again, thus pushing the now armed trigger/hammer back into your finger causing the weapon to fire again

2021-01-22 20:22:10 UTC

Repeat for 30 rounds

2021-01-22 20:22:10 UTC

Etc

2021-01-22 20:22:34 UTC

oh interesting

2021-01-22 20:31:34 UTC

Yo I just picked up some steel cased 223 for 15 bucks

2021-01-22 20:31:41 UTC

20 rounds for 15

2021-01-22 20:33:13 UTC

75¢ for steel? Oof

2021-01-22 20:47:58 UTC

Hey I got a few questions, what kind of knife can I carry and how long the blade needs to be ?

2021-01-22 20:48:54 UTC

The length of a knife that you can carry for self-defense will greatly depend on your state. Tennessee for instance has zero knife laws but I know many do.

2021-01-22 20:50:33 UTC

Well I live in puerto rico lol

2021-01-22 20:56:08 UTC

This is really old but the only other link I found was in Spanish and had lots of dead links.

2021-01-22 20:56:55 UTC

In general, if you're carrying a knife for self-defense longer is better so that you can reach vital organs but then you have to worry about legality of having a long knife and what kind of blade you're allowed to have.

2021-01-22 20:58:34 UTC

Ok

2021-01-22 21:05:28 UTC

I have a manual switch blade that less than 4 inch, I read the law and it states that I can use a blade that's less than 4 inch

2021-01-22 21:05:36 UTC

So that's why I'm asking

2021-01-22 21:13:40 UTC

@Kaladin @Deleted User If it can’t handle the steel, it doesn’t deserve the brass.
