I've thought about getting a black powder revolver at some point because they are classified as antique firearms to the federal government and thus don't require a background check and can be shipped to my home. Always good to have pew pews that the goverment doesn't even think about banning because they aren't scary and black.

Dunno, 5.56 isn't a bad round. If you have to hit something, helps not to have recoil.

I believe 7.62 has a further effective range than 5.56 which really caps out at about 400 yd.
