Faith and religion are two different things. A "religion" can be anything. Faith is the path you want to approach a belief on. I'm a Christian but I'm not "religious."

Just a reminder: Remember who your master is, there is nothing that God isn't in control of. So if you're worried about whats going on with society right now, or are feeling run down **look up to God and Pray** 1 Peter 5:7 says "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you" Pray to God about what troubles you because he cares, and wants to help. All you have to do is ask. Matthew 7:7 says “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." Use God's gift of communication with him aka prayer. The more time you spend with God, the more you are *intune* with him.

Alright so anyone who wants to debate about why Luther decided not to include the Deuterocanonical books in his version of the Bible I'm here

2021-01-24 08:51:04 UTC

I hate religion, but love God. So get dunked!

2021-01-24 08:51:17 UTC

What is your religion based on? where do you derive your faith and beliefs from?

2021-01-24 08:51:41 UTC

What is <thing that I do not have, religion> based on?

2021-01-24 08:51:51 UTC

<:KEK:795742276549607456>

2021-01-24 08:51:52 UTC

What do you base your faith on?

2021-01-24 08:52:05 UTC

The Word of God.

2021-01-24 08:52:08 UTC

Which is?

2021-01-24 08:52:17 UTC

I am all for religion

2021-01-24 08:52:26 UTC

Hold up.

2021-01-24 08:52:28 UTC

But when religion entirely defines your moral principles I get scared

2021-01-24 08:52:48 UTC

sweet we in here now

2021-01-24 08:52:51 UTC

Why?

2021-01-24 08:52:51 UTC

Yes

2021-01-24 08:52:53 UTC

Because now book or priest can tell you to do something horribly immoral but you do it since you believe everything your church says

2021-01-24 08:52:58 UTC

So.. What is the word of God?

2021-01-24 08:53:09 UTC

Ie, a church can tell someone to kill someone

2021-01-24 08:53:18 UTC

Dog, you ever hear of Jordan Peterson?

2021-01-24 08:53:18 UTC

If the bible said everywhere that murder is ok

2021-01-24 08:53:24 UTC

Would you feel ok murdering someone?

2021-01-24 08:53:28 UTC

You wouldn't

2021-01-24 08:53:33 UTC

In the beginning, the word was with God and the word was God.

2021-01-24 08:53:34 UTC

dog shutup lmao this isn't the debate

2021-01-24 08:53:36 UTC

Again, you have to take some things with a grain of salt.

2021-01-24 08:53:38 UTC

Because morals aren't entirely defined by religion

2021-01-24 08:53:43 UTC

So how do you know this was said?

2021-01-24 08:53:46 UTC

There are other factors to morality

2021-01-24 08:53:49 UTC

Other then religion

2021-01-24 08:53:50 UTC

That's true, because God defines them

2021-01-24 08:53:55 UTC

not religion

2021-01-24 08:54:01 UTC

But how do you know what God defines

2021-01-24 08:54:09 UTC

You can't expect to know everything, even if you read the bible 54 times

2021-01-24 08:54:13 UTC

God can say that liberals are dumb but his word is meaningless if not applicable

2021-01-24 08:54:14 UTC

It's too bad we don't have God's word written down anywhere. What a shame.

2021-01-24 08:54:15 UTC

You can't just read something to expect to understand it

2021-01-24 08:54:17 UTC

Or it's depths

2021-01-24 08:54:19 UTC

You have to study it

2021-01-24 08:54:23 UTC

The Bible right? You base your faith off of the Bible

2021-01-24 08:54:37 UTC

Nah fam of that's a corruption chruch for an example of a chruch supports abortions they aren't for God, because in the bible it says abortion is bad.
