No
oh
why not
Who was the Messiah?
Jesus Christ who came down to earth to atone for our sins
Who was Joseph smith?
a profit who received a vision of God and his son Jesus Christ in the 1800's
What is the Book of Mormon?
after he prayed and asked God witch of the many churches to join
the book of Mormon is just an account of a people who left Jerusalem under the instruction of God and started a life in the american continent. the book of Mormon is an account of Jesus Christ coming down after his resurrection. to the Americas to preach to the people
sorry about all the text
Alright how important would you say the Book of Mormon is?
it is a companion to the bible. just another account of Jesus Christ
What is the ultimate goal in Mormonism?
to preach the word of God just like all other religions
In the end what happens to the spirit
Does man’s spirit turn into a god?
I dont know
Was God’s spirit once like man’s
I believe that we all get to go to some degree of glory of heaven. I dont know about man becoming Gods.
I didn’t answer your question, the reason I asked you all those questions was so I could see what you believe
oh
well i hope I helped you understand better what we believe
Long story short in your answers, by stating that the Book of Mormon is a companion to the Bible (or equal to) you add onto God’s Word. That’s a sin, and we are told to be wary of those who do this sin. Furthermore in believing that Jesus was not the last prophet, as you stated Joseph smith was, you change who Jesus actually was. Jesus was the culmination of the law and prophets, they all pointed to Him and his sacrifice. If there were prophets after Him then you say that God hasn’t sent the Messiah yet. Adding onto the Bible and changing Jesus’ character fundamentally changes your belief from true Christianity. Furthermore many of the heads of lds believe that mans spirit can become like Gods and that Gods spirit was once the spirit of a man. This is something that is impossible and is not Christian. As a matter of fact the desire to be God is what caused Lucifer to fall @Mormon kid
That’s why I don’t view Mormons as Christian
thank you for telling me
and again I hope you have a wonderful day
Yep you too
yes
no
oh
Lol alrighty
also the polygamy thing
It’s a no from me
THAT STOPT BACK IN THE 1890s
If it had stopped then I would not have seen documentaries about it from a couple years ago
tbh Catholics are on the border with being Christian thing with the whole Pope to thing and praying to Mary and a few other things
I agree, although I think that being “Christian” isn’t as important as following Christ truly and believing in Him. In the end it’s a personal and individual thing, not a group thing.
I have been away a while but I come with another... troubling problem.
