I don't understand why evangelical Christians love Trump so much, he was not at all a godly man, he regularly disrespected woman, he got divorced several times, he has committed all forms of adultery and lust, several of those would put his sinning on the same level as being gay yet evangelicals will simultaneously preach about how great trump is while denying a gay person god's love. This whole situation has been very confusing to me not only as a christian but as a conservative, I have seen people I trusted and agreed with sacrfiice everything they stood for, for a man that spat on said ideals and walked away with the hearts and minds of good people.

I mean there is a third option you know, if none of the candidates don't support Christianity with more than just their words but with their actions as well.... Don't support any of the candidates..... I mean republicans and democrats have been paying lip service to Christians for decades but they only truly represent the god awful, not-christian TV mega churches, and that's just the republicans. Christian's should have never supported trump or the republican party nor the democrats, and they shouldn't until a candidate who best represents us comes forward. But even then it shouldn't happen as it's impossible for any one candidate to embody every denomination. There are a lot of Christians now who support gay marriage, and the inclusion of gays into the church, yet most "Christian" candidates don't, and if there was one, who would represent the Christianity who doesn't? Honestly Christians and Christianity should stay out of politics entirely, it will just serve to burn everyone.

Also I agree with Son Dank. I know Donald Trump more than likely has no faith in Jesus Christ. Someone doesn’t have to be a Christian for me to think they are qualified for a job. He implemented policies I liked as a Christian and that was and will be enough for me in the future.

I would prefer an actual devout Christian President but I’ll settle for someone willing to stand up for my freedom.

The founding fathers put that line in because they had seen how the Catholic church had been controling the government and said 'you know, the church should not dictate the laws, the people should.' I agree with No Mercy. I, am a Southern Baptist, my dad is a Pastor of a church. We voted for T because he promised more things that HC would. We again voted for T because he promised more and better things than JB/KH wanted. Heck back in 2008 when I was way to young to even know politics, he told me the exact values that BO’B stood for. A president that light up the White House in “pride flag” colors. A man who put his feet on the desk facing Israel, which to an Israel, pointing the sole of your feet/shoes at someone = “I have power over you”.

Heck T put on some abortion policies, HC wanted the ability for women to wait up to 3 hours before labor to decide if the baby shall be aborted, and I heard JB and KH both got ride of those abortion policies that T put in place. Not to mention look at the “promises” JB and KH have made and broken because they lied through their teeth.

T might not be a godly man, but a Christian is supposed to stand against those that are evil. If that means picking the better of two evils, then we have to do that. The church itself has sat back from politics too long, and I don’t mean super mighty mega churches where they only care about the $$$. I’m talking about the good, less than 100 members churches where you feel the power and spirit of the lord in every singing and sermon. Just staying out of politics is what causes Gay marriage to be signed, the ‘abomination’ now we have a president who just made it so a guy who thinks he is a woman can walk right into the women’s bathroom. Heck JB fired a black guy, and hired a transgender white persona. And if you watched one of Tyler’s Vids. “Amen and Awomen” is trying to genderfy a Latin word.

If I know that I have a choice to vote in something that could either keep some bit of God’s grace on this, ill vote for that against the left anyday, because don’t forget they are the ones who took the Bible classes and 10 Commandments out of schools. And you know how bad it’s gotten... my last year of high school..3 years ago mind y’all. I was having a nice talk with 2 other Christians in the hallway between classes, and a literal Muslim/Islamic female went to the principles, and said we forced our religion in her by talking about the story of Adshak Me’Shake and Avidego (yes spelt wrong but it’s that story of the 3 men tossed into the fire and Jesus unbound them and that good story). Alright. We ended up getting suspended for a week over that, tried to sue the school but no lawyer would take the case. Anyways, when we came back, ALL classes had to stop what they was doing so she could get out her mat and pray towards the East... that’s right, I couldn’t talk about my religion...but got forced to sit quietly and lose class time because somone of a different religion was favored over me.
