lol
I mean, based on the actions of the Catholic Church and leadership and from what we know of James it’s clear to see that their works contradict their statement of Faith
What I am saying is that you cannot be Mormon and a Christian. You can be a Catholic and a Christian.
I think that it’s possible to be “Mormon” and Christian and I agree with you in the rest of it
Because I believe it's the fullest faith. Its the practices I follow.
"mormon?"
not really
but you just admitted that you dont really follow those practices
Bloody how?
I think it depends on what you believe of Christ
because one faith contradicts the other
If you want to have the Holy Spirit work in your life you have to approach scripture and prayer with the intent of how you can serve him and not what you can get away with, and remember prayer with God is communication with the Almighty and should be treated with the ut most care and reverence, we have at our disposal an audience with the Living GOD!
Protestism Lutherans contradict each other all the other ones as well.
Yes, and you aren't Mormon if you believe that God and Jesus are ONE. Because that is a key component of Christianity they do not intersect.
but is it on finite and non-important issues or on the true character of God and where authority is placed?
God came down as a dove while Jesus was baptized
so
*the holy spirit
Yes thank you
We have one God and one Mediator which is Christ, who is an extension of God, and part of the trinity
Of one mindset and goal oh yes, of one body and spirit? No
I am of the same accord, that said I still pray on the toilet or in the shower or as I’m doing things
The Holy Spirit fills the hearts of His children. This does not mean that there needs to be millions of "bodys" or "forms".
right
The holy ghost is a spirit and does not have a body of flesh and bone
The Holy Spirit is just God's SPirit, it flows through all of us like the sap of the tree that nourished the whole body of the tree.
So why would the Holy Spirit coming down as a dove at Jesus's baptism mean that they were separate.
but at the same time it is also one in the same with God and Jesus. it is a trinity. it is completely uncomprehensible by the human mind
The Trinity
And Jesus praying to God on the cross?
Does that not exist anymore?
like i said, incomprehensable by the human mind
He did that for a reason, to confound those wise in their own sight. Those who worship science cant tune in to it
Jesus was 100% God AND 100% man
its impossible, but it's also true and very possible
Now that's some pseudo doctrine
it literally is in the bible
exactly
WHERE
"I and my Father are one" "When you see the son you see the father"
"hanks for your question. If you’re looking for an exact quote, then I’m afraid that the Bible doesn’t say this anywhere.
Why do Christians believe that Jesus was fully divine and fully human, then? Well, we look at what the Bible does teach and we seem to be compelled to adopt this view.
For example, Jesus claimed, “before Abraham was born, I am ” (John 8:58), clearly alluding to Exodus 3:14. He also claimed to be one with the Father (John 10:30-33). He acknowledged that he was the Christ, or Messiah (Mark 14:60-64; compare with Daniel 7:13-14). He also claimed that our eternal destinies hinged on our response to him (Luke 12:8-9).
In addition, Jesus is said to be the eternal word of God incarnate (John 1:1-3, 14). He is called the Creator and head of the church (Colossians 1:15-20). These are just a few of the passages which speak of Christ’s deity or divinity.
Other passages speak of his humanity. For example, Jesus was conceived and born of a woman (Matthew 1:18-25). He thus had a human body. He experienced hunger, thirst and fatigue (Matt. 4:2; John 4:6; etc.). He suffered and died (John 19:34). He could be heard, seen and touched (1 John 1:1). He evidenced the emotional and intellectual qualities of a human being (see Matt. 26:37 and Mark 9:21).
Again, there are plenty of other passages concerning Jesus’ humanity. When theologians try to put all of this together, they conclude that the Bible teaches that Jesus was both divine and human."
