Good hatch rate today guys! Originally set 42 eggs and 28 have hatched so far with 3 on the way, currently at a 66% hatch rate which I’m over the moon about, these are a sexlinked cross I discovered and was hoping my first large batch would turn out good, and it certainly delivered!

These are black sex links, the roosters hatch black with a yellow/white head, and the hens hatch all black cept for the rump

Unfortunately I won’t tell you what I crossed to get these because it’s now my farm trademark xD, but traditionally you cross a Rhode Island Red rooster to a barred rock hen for black sexlinks and it gives this same outcome!
