The top one is the expression and I have to condense it into a single logarithm. The bottom one is the answer on the honework website. I can’t fucking figure out how the top one leads to the bottom one when I try to simplify/condense it together

on the plus side, the PICAT test i took earlier apparently says im eligible for literally every job in the army including officers
