insurance is a contract where you give money every agreed time, and then when an accident happens they will pay for however much damage the safety net is worth (varies for however much you pay per the agreed time).

usually the losses that they cover are stated in the policy

an integral is the space under a graph of an equation (aka the area under the curve). its also the reverse of a derivative.
