my issue is that, and the fact that boys, younger people have a tendency to bully other kids into believing that simply being respectful to a woman is frowned upon because it makes them a simp. From personal experience, this has the potential for younger boys to try to preserve that sense of masculinity and can actually cause them to be abusive or use women. I have an issue with degrading yourself for the sake of a women and I have an issue with what comes with the push of not being a simp, because it gets blown out of proportion and you end up with more objectification of both men and women

yes, I have been physically abused because teenage boys have a belief that being respectful to a woman in any way is bad and makes you a simp. they get shunned and bullied in their own friend group for being a "simp"so they often think that they should now treat women as objects. that's my issue with the whole concept in general
