Buy the large dips

2021-02-20 15:56:04 UTC

Sell the large bumps

2021-02-20 15:56:07 UTC

For my birthday present in 2010 I got 20$ in bitcoin which is worth a lot now, only have sold one cause needed more cash

2021-02-20 15:56:21 UTC

Anyone who bought a few weeks after the rona hit is riding high right now

2021-02-20 15:56:32 UTC

And it’s the perfect time for them to sell atm<:Poggers:796912784473456640>

2021-02-20 15:56:45 UTC

Like I said, only works with intraday buy/sells if the day's close is lower than the day's open

2021-02-20 15:57:41 UTC

holding onto it longer than a day you're more than likely going to be on a gradual loss. You "might" get a mid-week spike but on a weekly average, it's reached it's peak and turning bearish

2021-02-20 15:57:58 UTC

Stocks generally go up and down in an upward fashon

2021-02-20 15:58:05 UTC

Or in a downward fashon

2021-02-20 15:58:07 UTC

So the key is

2021-02-20 15:58:20 UTC

You have to guesstimate how low the dip or bump is

2021-02-20 15:58:22 UTC

I dont care about understanding the other sidd anymore alls i care about is how much led and iron it takes if you catch my drift

2021-02-20 15:58:22 UTC

Have you looked at it?

2021-02-20 15:58:25 UTC

And always hedge your bets

2021-02-20 15:59:01 UTC

You can’t get all your advice from r/wallstreetbets man lol

The last month

2021-02-20 16:00:30 UTC

If it dips more dramatically then I’d say sell. That’s not a big enough dip to warrant panic

2021-02-20 16:00:45 UTC

Well you cannot get any words that make sense from a liberal

2021-02-20 16:01:08 UTC

ay ay, I am bacc bois

2021-02-20 16:01:14 UTC

Watcha discussing?

2021-02-20 16:01:22 UTC

Thry know nothing and are the most ignorant sobs i have meet, they are the domestic hostiles the oath and founding fathers warned us of

2021-02-20 16:01:30 UTC

If you sell now vs if you sell when it dips a little more then you might get a little bit more money, that is true, but if the dip turns out to be minor and recovers quick and surpasses its previous value then you will have made a mistake

2021-02-20 16:01:43 UTC

Stock market is something I know I need to learn more about, since I only really know the basics, but I already have a ton of stuff that I'm learning so...

2021-02-20 16:01:53 UTC

stock market? I see

2021-02-20 16:02:16 UTC

I just have a vauge idea of stock market

2021-02-20 16:02:18 UTC

that's it

2021-02-20 16:02:26 UTC

In particular we are discussing the merits of short term trading vs what I’d call intermediate term trading

2021-02-20 16:02:34 UTC

ah

2021-02-20 16:02:42 UTC

What's long term trading

2021-02-20 16:02:47 UTC

2021-02-20 16:02:50 UTC

2021-02-20 16:02:51 UTC

Like 5+ years?

2021-02-20 16:02:54 UTC

I'm talking about long term investing, shit you would put into your retirement funds

2021-02-20 16:03:02 UTC

What is NIFTY?sensex?

2021-02-20 16:03:21 UTC

If you're young enough it won't affect you, those that are about to retire though are gonna get fucked

2021-02-20 16:03:25 UTC

senex? like the latin word for senile?

2021-02-20 16:03:33 UTC

That's what my dad did, he bought a bunch of stable stocks and just used the dividends and such to help with his retirement.

2021-02-20 16:03:47 UTC

a billionare did actually recommend giving every child born thousands of dollars, for parents to invest
