Well to be fair saying isn't the same as doing
I mean when you demand something...you most likely want that thing
Well
Could capitalism and totatlitarianism even work?
Maybe
Chile?
Probably not
well totalitarianism is more orwellian where the government controls every aspect of your life (similar to nazi germany)
so I don't see how it could be capitalist
Do nazi's outwardly support total control over everyday life?
I thought if you were deemed of good ethnic sound you'd get the socialist treatment but I see no mention of a surveillance state
I got the definition of totalitarianism wrong sorry
They'd implement it
its inevitable for any powerful state really
look at one nation toryism in UK, bloody cctv everywhere in London
> the Nazis found it necessary to set up charitable institutions to help racially-pure Germans in order to maintain popular support
via https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Nazi_Germany#Social_policies line 3 sentence 2
also this thing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_Labour_Front
Nazi Germany was pretty Socialist but not traditonal Marxist socialism
more social darwinism
because it didn't help "inferior" races
its more like state imposed social darwinism
rather than naturally letting the races thwart each other
Social darwinsim isn't socialism
I know
Its quite the opposite
I know, but Hitler imposed social darwinist policies in a way
Social Darwinism is just a worldview
But it could easily be incorporated with libertarianism as with Nazism
if social darwinism is survival of the fittest, then I'd say capitalism is similar to social darwinism if that's what @hqjsdbsnwa is talking about
though capitalism doesn't just serve to the "strong"
Well, capitalism doesn't serve anyone, but the more competent people have it better under capitalism
it just give people total freedom to life, liberty and property
everything is done with mutual contracts and agreements that do not infringe the NAP
yeah perhaps "serve" was the wrong word, but capitalism isn't just there to the "strong" rather but to everybody
Yeah
The more competent people have it better under capitalism but theh don't have to be strong or whatever
Social Darwinism is just survival of the fittest but that isnt quite precisely quantifiable in human social life, success is subjective
Like you can be the weakest ugliest looking dude in the world but if ur smart you can have a better life and more money than some strong attactice guy under capitalism
I think success could be objective depending on the person you're talking about
