the most popular starter weapons are an AR-15 (fires a .223) and an M&P shield (pistol that fires a 9mm). Glocks are also beloved pistols. For a first weapon, its unpopular, but I personally like a rifle because its easy to shoot and I like a safety, because when you are first dealing with guns, safety is your absolute priority. You aren't in a rush buying a gun. Wait until you have the cash and the time to purchase a gun AND a NRA certified training class. You also don't need to buy ammo day 1. You can take the time to learn about your gun before you buy ammo, that way you play it safe. Safety is number one. @Deleted User

2018-07-19 01:03:11 UTC

take some training classes
search firearms training classes in your area
then take the classes
try holding a few different handguns
see which ones feel the best
theres very likely a pawn shop in your area that has tons of different guns you can hold and get a feel for

dont be that retard who goes to the sport shop and buys what ever the clerk tells you
yeah go in for feels dont buy anything then come home and do research

2018-07-19 02:46:53 UTC

Does the weight of the material the shell is made of have any affect whatsoever on the ballistic outcome of the round during or after firing?

2018-07-19 04:15:55 UTC

no but the type of metal used to make the casing does

2018-07-19 18:55:25 UTC

@Bolsonaro the Springfield XD is a great and cheap handgun you can get it either chambered in 9 m m 40 Smith & Wesson or 45 ACP

2018-07-19 18:56:52 UTC

But if you don't like polymer framed guns and want to go old school nothing beats a 1911 you can get it chambered in 9 mil 45 even 380 nowadays

2018-07-19 19:00:22 UTC

@Bolsonaro but if you have a specific budget in mind you can DM me and I could give you a list of really decent guns for the price

2018-07-19 20:03:14 UTC

I would love to get a USP .45

2018-07-21 02:35:00 UTC

pricey

2018-07-21 02:35:07 UTC

indeed

2018-07-21 02:35:37 UTC

That's why I don't have one yet - and because it is hard to come by in Canada due to some distributor change or something

2018-07-21 02:35:48 UTC

But I have a 1911 for .45, so that's good
