on the make and models you like
search things like ammo prices parts upgrades and magazine prices and availablity
the most popular starter weapons are an AR-15 (fires a .223) and an M&P shield (pistol that fires a 9mm). Glocks are also beloved pistols. For a first weapon, its unpopular, but I personally like a rifle because its easy to shoot and I like a safety, because when you are first dealing with guns, safety is your absolute priority. You aren't in a rush buying a gun. Wait until you have the cash and the time to purchase a gun AND a NRA certified training class. You also don't need to buy ammo day 1. You can take the time to learn about your gun before you buy ammo, that way you play it safe. Safety is number one. @Deleted User
also true
id recommend an wasr 10 63 akm for the first rifle they are easy to clean and maintain for starters and very diffacult tobreak or damage compared to ar15s
thanks fellas
ill defer to joe, i dont own an ar-15 and i bet he knows more than me on that
I have 2 years before I can even buy a gun so I have time to find a good one
sounds good. the gun community is great and helped me get started
doesnt matter you should be able to take classes now
there is no age requirment on classes
go with an adult and start learning now
they allow you to rent a gun
ok I'll check it out
what is a good first gun?
depends
Akm
looking for a pistol
for ?
ur age ?
take some training classes
search firearms training classes in your area
then take the classes
try holding a few different handguns
see which ones feel the best
theres very likely a pawn shop in your area that has tons of different guns you can hold and get a feel for
dont be that retard who goes to the sport shop and buys what ever the clerk tells you
yeah go in for feels dont buy anything then come home and do research
Does the weight of the material the shell is made of have any affect whatsoever on the ballistic outcome of the round during or after firing?
no but the type of metal used to make the casing does
@Bolsonaro the Springfield XD is a great and cheap handgun you can get it either chambered in 9 m m 40 Smith & Wesson or 45 ACP
But if you don't like polymer framed guns and want to go old school nothing beats a 1911 you can get it chambered in 9 mil 45 even 380 nowadays
@Bolsonaro but if you have a specific budget in mind you can DM me and I could give you a list of really decent guns for the price
No problem
Anyone have a P320?
no
cant belive PSA has so muhc ins tock rigth now glad i checked in
What about a USP .45?
I would love to get a USP .45
pricey
indeed
That's why I don't have one yet - and because it is hard to come by in Canada due to some distributor change or something
But I have a 1911 for .45, so that's good
