Pyrrhonism was a school of skepticism founded by Pyrrho in the fourth century BCE. It is best known through the surviving works of Sextus Empiricus, writing in the late second century or early third century CE.

Why did you think I believe in archetypes? Was I in a conversation about such? I have no memory of that.

2017-10-27 02:42:27 UTC

No, thought you were Pagan. And since pretty much all of the heathens on this discord agree on the archetypes thing...

2017-10-27 02:42:33 UTC

I guess I was wrong.

2017-10-27 02:43:58 UTC

I'm thinking about going to this Episcopal church down the road from me. It's 100% white congregants and it's what I was baptised as

2017-10-27 02:44:34 UTC

I went once and they talked about how they were running low on straight pastors.

2017-10-27 02:44:36 UTC

Ouff

2017-10-27 02:45:09 UTC

Episcopal Churces are the ones where they have gay marriages overseen by tranny abortion advocate priests, right?

2017-10-27 02:45:25 UTC

That's fucking disgusting

2017-10-27 02:45:40 UTC

Yes, they are pretty damn liberal.

2017-10-27 02:47:46 UTC

2017-10-27 02:50:02 UTC

right in the Indus valley

2017-10-27 02:50:31 UTC

Also, didn't they have contact with mesopotamia at the time?

2017-10-27 02:51:44 UTC

MK went to bed, he has school tommorow.

what i'm wondering is why paganism? forget the whole "muh ancestors" meme and the Viking LARPing, set that aside. what is intrinsically valuable about any Paganistic religions?

2017-10-27 02:52:22 UTC

he sure does look aryan

2017-10-27 02:52:36 UTC

2017-10-27 02:52:38 UTC

2017-10-27 02:52:40 UTC

(he was found at Mohenjo Daro)

2017-10-27 02:52:59 UTC

sorry, didn't read your messages

2017-10-27 02:53:31 UTC

thats fine, if you @ him tommorow evening he should be good to carry it on.

2017-10-27 02:54:09 UTC

my point is, >straight hair > big beard >straight nose >not aryan

2017-10-27 02:54:23 UTC

@Belisarius mmh, some of Nietzsche's take on it can be a bit of an argument in favour of paganism
there's the whole ancestral wisdom thang
uh, there's some areas in which it is mutually reinforcing with nationalist sentiment...#

2017-10-27 02:54:46 UTC

but, mostly, it's people who say no to christianity and just switch to paganism to default

2017-10-27 02:55:42 UTC

it's easier for a Norwegian to go "Eh, I'm not going Christian, so I'll identify with the old Norwegian faith" than to go "Eh, I'm not going Christian, so I'll become a Zoroastrian"

2017-10-27 02:55:59 UTC

Also, I saw a study the other day showing earlier evidence of Ind-European invasion

2017-10-27 02:56:09 UTC

but muh slitty eyes

2017-10-27 02:56:14 UTC

clearly 100% mongoloid

2017-10-27 03:01:40 UTC

>didn't realize this was sarcasm

2017-10-27 03:02:32 UTC

but why is paganism better or more valuable than christianity?

2017-10-27 03:04:21 UTC

As I said, it's not so much that it has a pull of its own other than what I mentioned, it's just a default fallback for those who don't want to into Christianity, which may be for a whole load of different reasons.
