i want to experience something like that meek
Well goodnight y'all, thanks very much for the advice, will report back on my findings
good night
I don't have any advice to give on how to become religious. I come from a Christian family and my parents were Bible Students who know the Bible very well and are pretty religious, but in a personal way - they don't want to impose their beliefs on others. And I've been disillusioned from the holy text, and I'm no longer a believer. I would really like to become a Christian again, but I can't do it without lying to myself and, consequently, to God. The biggest part that destroyed my religion was studying how the Bible came to compile its holy texts, and how most of it was politically driven, instead of being driven by the word of God. It just made me doubt every word in the Bible.
But if you ever find out how to become religious, let me know.
I think the hardest part about religion is finding a good church to go to
There's a lot of strange churches i've been to that are more "new age", where the stage and speaker looks more like apple releasing some new phone than an alter with a priest
but optics don't really matter as much as the message they give. A lot of the time though the altruism that the church teaches has lead to people who want to selfishly take for themselves being enabled
Finding a good church is definitely very difficult, especially in the more liberal parts of America and Europe
near me all the Protestant and most Catholic churches fly those rainbow banners
The problem with that, even if you don't resent homosexuals, is the absolute betrayal of the actual faith by being so openly 'accepting' of it. It's described as a sin in the Bible, and while we are taught to help sinners, it's abhorrent to encourage and say there is nothing wrong with a certain sin
I guess thats what happens when so many christians dont take their own beliefs seriously
there is only noe god, and hitler is his prophet :^)
Definitely, I'm sure some of you guys have seen that long post about the 'nice doctrine', where many "christians" are content to think of Jesus and just a really nice guy. When in actuality there's so much more to the faith than just being 'nice'
memage aside, i think hitler had a good point where he talks about 'struggle is life'
life IS struggle
#nature
always seeking to be the best, but not at the cost to your fellow man
i dont particularly ascribe to any religion
but if there was a 'crusader' sect of christioanity

Make your own toothpaste and deoderant free of chemicals and metals that cause cancer and disrupt your hormones(triclosan). It's super easy and in all honesty, I've found they work better than store bought stuff. In addition, they are very customizable.
