I'm starting RCIA also, been going over bits of the catechism where I can and have been getting to mass more regularly

I would highly suggest that ANY theologian worth their salt says the eucharist is the source and summit of our faith. Its basically the defining characteristic of Catholicism.

If you can grasp the REALITY of the Sacrifice of the Mass....then the rest will come. I would largely look up apologetics on this topic and then watch the graces flow

I watched a speech Fr Mike Schmitz made on the eucharist that was very convincing, basically the thing that convinced me Calvinism wasn't the way forward, which was what I was when I first became christian

Also, on an unrelated note, Nick said yesterday that if the pope were to say something heretical in a formal sense while (claiming) to invoke papal infallibility the whole system would be void. Do other people agree on this? I always thought that either he would be forced to resign or some sort of sedesvatican system would become correct
