but theres an SSPX chapel like 25 min away

and a big SSPX church an hour and half away

ive never gone to either though

yeah I went to novus ordo for a long time, FSSP was a literal gift from heaven

Im also a degenerate so its disorienting to try to change my lifestyle

honestly just go and keep going. It'll be a culture shock for sure as I experienced but the joy that you feel and the reality of God makes you keep going.

Mass location and position on the crisis are two different things and they may not coincide

Had a fun experience at a Protestant church recently. They had this black guy speaking and his entire sermon was about how oppressed he felt. Maybe 10% of what he was saying was related to the Bible in some way. Never going there again.

@Mephisto Go to the SSPX chapel for Mass and talk to the priest about the conversion process if you haven't recieved the sacraments yet

the process is far more personal and educational with them than the gay novus ordo RCIA programs

I was baptized and received first communion when I was a kid
Yeah maybe SSPX would be better for the more personal stuff which is kind of what I'm looking for, it feels like larp when I'm alone
