You really cant argue something if you dont know what youre talking about lmao so i see what you mean

2019-11-05 16:20:13 UTC

Yeaaaah it's not like that

2019-11-05 16:20:25 UTC

Actually it isšŸ˜‚

2019-11-05 16:20:34 UTC

Bc I've been called a Satanist many times in one argument

2019-11-05 16:20:37 UTC

A lot of globe earthers that come here aren't educated enough in their own model to make an argument

2019-11-05 16:20:41 UTC

It's sad

2019-11-05 16:21:00 UTC

It's actually the exact opposite

2019-11-05 16:21:06 UTC

It isn't.

2019-11-05 16:21:07 UTC

Other tests include the Pound-Rebka experiment which tested gravitational redshift.

2019-11-05 16:21:27 UTC

You may not believe it but people believe too many simplified aspects

2019-11-05 16:21:57 UTC

Welll, I've been called a Satanist, everything's a lie, and that I'm brainwashed

2019-11-05 16:22:04 UTC

When I was giving out my points

2019-11-05 16:22:16 UTC

All im saying is if i believe in somethings it because it think its a better alternative then the other side of it

2019-11-05 16:22:18 UTC

Now I must go back to school and get *brainwashed*

2019-11-05 16:22:43 UTC

Not sure who was saying that but you know that happens from time to time

2019-11-05 16:22:46 UTC

School sucks though

2019-11-05 16:22:59 UTC

calling GE brainwashed doesnt make FE points any more valid

2019-11-05 16:23:01 UTC

It simplifies too many things

2019-11-05 16:23:23 UTC

When I got older and started to look into a lot of things I was taught I just learned more about them

2019-11-05 16:23:27 UTC

šŸ–• school

2019-11-05 16:23:28 UTC

You have to simplify things in school, otherwise concepts canā€™t be grasped.

2019-11-05 16:23:56 UTC

That's the problem though

2019-11-05 16:24:08 UTC

You cant start talking about nuclear fusion to a second grader that doesnā€™t even know the sun is a star

2019-11-05 16:24:24 UTC

Teach it in high school

2019-11-05 16:24:30 UTC

People barely understand gravity enough as it is

2019-11-05 16:24:46 UTC

Cause no one wants to actually learn about it

2019-11-05 16:24:59 UTC

Now THATS what sucks about school

2019-11-05 16:25:10 UTC

2019-11-05 16:25:14 UTC

Ouch

2019-11-05 16:25:22 UTC

Youā€™re always given the option to pursue knowledge further, but school doesnā€™t incentivize it as much as it should.

2019-11-05 16:25:48 UTC

That's something we gotta fix

2019-11-05 16:26:08 UTC

They also teach too many things as fact even though it's just assumptions

2019-11-05 16:26:33 UTC

What (in the curriculum) is taught as fact, but it just an assumption?

2019-11-05 16:26:51 UTC

The big bang

2019-11-05 16:26:54 UTC

Like, not what teachers personally say Bc theyā€™ll imprint their beliefs and views into everything

2019-11-05 16:27:41 UTC

@floridaswamptrash do you have any other examples. they teach big bang more so in college

2019-11-05 16:28:30 UTC

Why wasnt i learn about how to program plcs when in gradeschool

2019-11-05 16:28:32 UTC

Who wants to debate about the six astronauts that didnā€™t actually die?

2019-11-05 16:28:33 UTC

Couldve used it now

2019-11-05 16:28:40 UTC

The Big Bang is taught as a theory, aka an explanation for why something is, and then it was tested. It is very valuable, especially in higher level physics.

2019-11-05 16:29:02 UTC

We then use the Big Bang as an axiom for further discussion and research
