Like one guy actually thought rain falls down because "there's life on the ground, water falls towards the ground. Coincidence?" That was his actual argument, that air and water magically fall to where life is

It rains because it was designed to be that way. Life needs water to grow but it needs it intermittently.

rain is because the water vapor that has accumulated in clouds condenses and falls down

into water drops

and the reason they’re drops is because of air resistance
