oh, sorry! I was raised Christian, but I consider myself more of a pantheist.
not christianity
ha i am right and you are rong!’n
Aight
i am too smart for my own good
its not about you though ten
ok
true or false perhaps
Pantheist in what way? Hindu? Old Hebrew? Kemetic? Germanic?
it just seems a little like blind faith in some cases
not all
@TheBiscuitMuncher Yeah but Christians who claim to believe in the big bang aren't real Christians for obvious reasons
thats ironic
what is?
@RadRhys I don't know the history behind it, so I'm not sure, but I think maybe God *IS* the energy that makes up the universe. I think that if God exists, "He's" not anthropomorphic; He's beyond understanding or relating to.
the big bang is not proven, and youre bringing up somebody else having blind faith
That’s inherent for all metaphysical deities, drewski
but we accept it as a theory
not as a fact
that's not blind faith
exactly
Theories are often considered fact, Fred
yes, but the fact is that they're not
they're theories
and by definition, a theory isn't a fact
so then youre on equal footing with a christian then
not really
yeah
Theories require testing, observations, etc.
"Redshifting" big bang must be real 🤪
observe the big bang, show me the evidence please
You can’t test, observe, or otherwise extrapolate a metaphysical entity
we're not telling you it's 100% proven
so now youre talking metaphysics
it's not
You don’t need to directly observe the Big Bang, remember the conversation about cause and effect?
but many christians simply have "faith"
which isn't enough for me
religion is the metaphysics, hello
the law of causality and the big bang conflict
