ok so even if nasa made a mistake it doesn't proof the earth is flat

2019-11-02 22:38:56 UTC

What if I said every globe image is faked?

2019-11-02 22:39:07 UTC

Maybe they are

2019-11-02 22:39:09 UTC

So it proves that they are making fake images.

2019-11-02 22:39:12 UTC

yeah to make it look better

2019-11-02 22:39:13 UTC

Is that not enough 😂

2019-11-02 22:39:21 UTC

@Big Boi Jameson youre the one talking about flat earth

2019-11-02 22:39:27 UTC

But you can proof the earth is round with math

2019-11-02 22:39:38 UTC

Wrong again.

2019-11-02 22:39:52 UTC

this channel is called flat earth...

2019-11-02 22:39:55 UTC

Math made to fit a globe earth.

2019-11-02 22:39:58 UTC

and?

2019-11-02 22:40:06 UTC

how does one make math fit a globe earth

2019-11-02 22:40:23 UTC

In the article, NASA doesn't appear to state that they modified the image.

2019-11-02 22:40:32 UTC

Other than taking rapid images on different wavelengths.

2019-11-02 22:40:51 UTC

Are you telling me people have been fakign the earth is round since 3rd century BC?

2019-11-02 22:41:14 UTC

its only been accepted as round for 500 years

2019-11-02 22:41:40 UTC

Greek philosophers thought the earth was round in 5th century BC

2019-11-02 22:41:45 UTC

yes i know

2019-11-02 22:41:45 UTC

And?

2019-11-02 22:41:49 UTC

greeks are not everyone

2019-11-02 22:41:52 UTC

^

2019-11-02 22:42:10 UTC

nasa editing images doesn't mean the earth isn't round either

2019-11-02 22:42:10 UTC

The last time anyone took a photograph from above low Earth orbit that showed an entire hemisphere (one side of a globe) was in 1972 during Apollo 17. NASA’s Earth Observing System (EOS) satellites were designed to give a check-up of Earth’s health. By 2002, we finally had enough data to make a snap shot of the entire Earth. So we did. The hard part was creating a flat map of the Earth’s surface with four months’ of satellite data. Reto Stockli, now at the Swiss Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology, did much of this work. Then we wrapped the flat map around a ball. My part was integrating the surface, clouds, and oceans to match people’s expectations of how Earth looks from space. That ball became the famous Blue Marble. https://www.nasa.gov/centers/goddard/about/people/RSimmon.html

2019-11-02 22:42:14 UTC

they havent done anything to prove it tho

2019-11-02 22:42:23 UTC

they just thought its flat based on a whim

2019-11-02 22:42:33 UTC

pretty sure its because of the eclipse

2019-11-02 22:42:45 UTC

thats the main reason greeks believed its a ball

2019-11-02 22:42:50 UTC

@Big Boi Jameson It proves that they aren't telling us everything.

2019-11-02 22:42:54 UTC

so if the earth isn't round we just teleport from one edge of the world to the other or what

2019-11-02 22:42:57 UTC

If the Earth was a globe, why would they need to edit images?

2019-11-02 22:43:01 UTC

The facts would all line up.

2019-11-02 22:43:16 UTC

But hellenistic astronomy proved it in 5th century bc are you telling me they've been keepign this lie up for that logn

2019-11-02 22:43:25 UTC

would u post a pic of u looking like a junky? no u would edit it or simply not post it

2019-11-02 22:43:35 UTC

how did he prove it

2019-11-02 22:43:36 UTC

Yeah, but not to that scale.

2019-11-02 22:43:37 UTC

show me

2019-11-02 22:44:39 UTC

And it doesn't really matter what the Greeks thought.

2019-11-02 22:44:44 UTC

they messured the angle of shadows in a well in two different cities

2019-11-02 22:44:56 UTC

yes but thats not prove of anything

2019-11-02 22:45:21 UTC

they measured the circumference assuming its a ball
