I apologize for coming across as deflecting, that was not my intentions

2019-11-18 03:50:24 UTC

OK. will take you on your word.

2019-11-18 03:50:33 UTC

So, back onto the subject you brought up

2019-11-18 03:51:13 UTC

well I didn't bring it up. i just asked you to justify your statement

2019-11-18 03:51:20 UTC

but if you want to talk to about "Gravity

2019-11-18 03:51:24 UTC

we can do that

2019-11-18 03:51:43 UTC

Oh, then I apologize I will try to talk about the statement more if you wish.

2019-11-18 03:51:58 UTC

I'm a little all over the place I will admit

2019-11-18 03:52:10 UTC

it was originally about Earth's spin/tilt. but we can tackle any topic you are interested in

2019-11-18 03:52:36 UTC

I'm nothing if not flexible

2019-11-18 03:52:49 UTC

Thank you, while I know a tad bit about the tilt, not enough to be comfortable talking about it a lot. I know much more about gravity.

2019-11-18 03:53:02 UTC

unfortunately I cannot post images here so will do my best

2019-11-18 03:53:14 UTC

Ah, if you need to, you can dm them to me

2019-11-18 03:53:54 UTC

so the tilt is a not necessary. it can't be measured. it was constructed to explain away some phenomena. such as seasons

2019-11-18 03:54:02 UTC

but there is an alternate explanation based on a flat earth model

2019-11-18 03:54:10 UTC

I will admit there is one.

2019-11-18 03:54:27 UTC

there is one what?

2019-11-18 03:54:46 UTC

Another explanation for the seasons based on the flat earth model.

2019-11-18 03:55:03 UTC

ah ok. good. so if you picture the sun making a circle over a flat earth

2019-11-18 03:55:20 UTC

It doesn't do that bad of a job explaining it. I have seen the models

2019-11-18 03:55:25 UTC

it makes a path closer to the north pole in summer and farther away in winter.

2019-11-18 03:55:34 UTC

ah ok. sounds like you are familiar with it then

2019-11-18 03:55:58 UTC

Yes, I have tried to look into things before disagreeing with them

2019-11-18 03:56:47 UTC

However the seasons part I have nothing to agree no disagree on, for It is something that explains the seasons in a way that works.

2019-11-18 03:56:49 UTC

that's good. the key to being a truth seeker is first humility. never assume you have the answer and second to be open to all ideas and not judge until after investigation

2019-11-18 03:57:04 UTC

Of course

2019-11-18 03:57:20 UTC

cool. then sounds like your biggest issue is.....gravity?

2019-11-18 03:57:37 UTC

Gravity is one of my main ones yes.

2019-11-18 03:58:20 UTC

ah ok. so...."Gravity" is difficult because we still don't understand it. in fact that was one of my first shockers when I started college

2019-11-18 03:58:31 UTC

physics prof said "we still don't understand gravity"

2019-11-18 03:58:39 UTC

I remember like yesterday....was 25yrs ago

2019-11-18 03:58:58 UTC

we don't truly know what causes things to fall down. mass attracting mass has never been proven

2019-11-18 03:59:05 UTC

and we can't replicate gravity

2019-11-18 03:59:11 UTC

nor tune it like we can say with EM

2019-11-18 03:59:21 UTC

but...

2019-11-18 03:59:43 UTC

if we assume for a moment that mass attracts mass...it could be exaplanable on a flat earth model

2019-11-18 03:59:59 UTC

bcs we only can measure/observe that the surface of earth is flat.

2019-11-18 04:00:04 UTC

no clue what's underneath

2019-11-18 04:00:11 UTC

and we've only been able to drill about 8 miles

2019-11-18 04:00:38 UTC

so it's entirely possible that variations in "weight" if ever measured in different locations, could be attributed to different center of mass in that region

2019-11-18 04:00:49 UTC

we don't truly know what is under the surface
