Yes i agree
like how to grow food, how to fix things
I'm actually working on a new school curriculum
only circa 10% in a classroom
how about even minimal sewing
will teach by hands on learning
My wife's sister's kid has a tablet with her at all times and she seems socially stunted; doesn't ever talk to any of us.
Nice please include lessons in perpestive geometry
absolutely sewing! very important
lol. will do 🙂
the key is teaching critical thinking skills
schools today are all about receiving information, memorizing it, and spitting back out later
I want to teach kids how to think critically based on information and come to conclusions
more Socratic method
good
plus real world skills
Imo i think kids should learn those skills outside of school
Waste of school time
no. school time is the waste 🙂
that's the problem
If the kids spend weekends camping and summers in a farm
Theyd have enough skills
they weren't presented with any other options
I want to have "summer camp" all year. that will be their school
but of course still including the basics like math, reading etc... in the classroom time
right. need to bug out. have a good one all! Bye @Silly Rabbit, Trix Are For Kids and @Drewski4343
and @IXI
see you later phd
ciao!
Bye
later doc!
whats a push and a pull?
I want to get into a fun debate
Anyone interested
