Didn’t the titanic sink because the Captain kept the boat at a fast speed, and when it hit the iceberg, it flooded 5 or 6 of the compartments? I mean it’s kinda the builders fault for not building higher compartments, but it’s also the Captains fault for not slowing down.

@Metallica it was more a combination of factors mainly to do with poor visibility the lack of binoculars for the spotters in the crews nest, as well as the ships massive size and subsequent lack of mobility which caused it to collide with the iceberg, and due to technological limitations of the time the multiple sectional bulkheads that make it "unsinkable" where to slow to stop the flash flooding that occured due to the massive hole the iceberg caused in theory they would of worked on a smaller hole that was more likely to occur its just that a hole of that magnitude wasnt planned for
