I get your point. From my point of view. Reason for "go and forgive" in any ways to show your subconscious and physical body that you not playing around, you kinda have simple solution for any type of things. Becouse "you are not your thoughts" meaning we have a lot unresolved request in our brain. So it's why so matter and cool for life keep it's simple. If you have family members. Go and forgive. You can see a lot of new things by that. And no need spend time to trying find resentment towards anyone. In my particular situation. I ask my self I see how great work forgiveness with my mother and oldest sister. But after this was confused. Why if I have nothing toward my brother I still not call him. So my point is even if you cool with your parents, there no problem to call your sister or brother for forgive them. Especially we all know children's in some familys use to ditching each other.
