Cops are given the tools and training necessary to combat those they are dealing with. As long as there are provisions made to prevent female cops being isolated with strong hostiles, I see no issue. 98% of a cop's job is talking and driving a car. Women can do that. Women can shoot just as well as men, both with taser and weapon. Etc. Cops don't have an extremely physical job most of the time.

I am totally, completely, 100% against having women in any military combat role, by the way, for the reason that they cannot enter said roles without different tests. Different test standards are bullshit.

If a girl can complete the same test a man would need to complete for job X, then I see no reason for her to not be allowed to do it.

I believe that as long as someone isn't hurting someone else, they can do whatever the hell they want. Regulating someone to a specific role based on sex alone is detrimental to the capabilities of a society. I know women who belong in the kitchen and men who belong in the kitchen. I know women, my girlfriend for instance, who are incredibly smart and capable. You want to waste all that talent by restricting it based on sex? Pretty stupid if you ask me.
