These other countries know this and have war gamed scenarios the same way we do. Russia knows what it'll do to us if they *have to* go that far (and obviously they've mentioned they don't want to have to go there)

And yeah, even now, the people getting things done overseas is all special operations. No clue what the rest is doing

That normalcy bias, though. It's insane to see even people on our side not see the whole picture
