Indeed shotguns for trench warfare. Winchester made a special run of 1897 pump shotguns just for that purpose. I mean think about it in trench warfare do you want a bolt-action Springfield or a pump-action Winchester? The Germans called it a war crime but whatevs......

200 is what I paid for the Mossberg back in the day. I bought it mostly because we were in a bad neighborhood and I wanted something I could train my (tiny blonde) roommate to be lethal with over a weekend.

I’m just confused. I said that the M14 isn’t being used all that much any more. The only reason why we were recently is because we needed DMR’s.
